July has been an exciting month with new propects for the future and it was my birthday month! Just when I thought things would be stagnant, new opportunities started to pop up again. Exciting! I tend to get overly excited so I have learned to remain calm and hopefully optimistic without jinxing myself either. So I shall remain positive that these new potential opportunities come to fruition. The future is now and I plan to be present and stay in the moment each day. I am so grateful everyday I wake for all the opportunities that have come my way. I am very lucky.

I have been painting a lot this month. I am also learning new ways to work through obstacles when I paint. If I'm having an issue with certain part of my painting, I step back, walk away and think about it. In the past, I would paint over it and try something new. That does work at times when another idea pops into my head, but lately that hasn't been the case. I have learned through experience and time it is best to take a moment and think about what it is that I'm trying to convey. If I don't like it, I can paint over it and come up with another idea. It's all okay and part of the process. The key is to be present and in the moment everyday. The future is now!
