This month has been all about getting motivated again. I found myself to be a bit lazy between the holidays going into the new year and it never quite left myside going into February. For some reason I had a hard time getting motivated to paint. The new year was off to a slow and interesting start. It was quite unexpected which I wasn't used to so maybe that threw me off and stayed with me for a long overdue period of time. Luckily family and friends are always there by my side shedding new light and helping me get motivated again.

Now I'm back on track. I gave myself a deadline for the painting commission I'm working on. It's almost done and I'm really happy with how it's turned out. The painting commission was something outside my comfort zone of what I would typically paint. I really took my time with this to make sure what I was visualizing works not only for me but especially for my client. It was a great challenge which I always look forward to as an artist. I learn a lot when I challenge myself and realize I can do it! I think my client will be happy with the end result. Stay tuned as I will be posting photos of the painting online and on my social media in March.
