This month was such a crapshoot. I was all over the place and felt scattered. A lot of unexpected occurrences - some good, some bad and some life-altering. Certain events made me rethink what I was doing and getting rid of any bad habits that were still lingering on. It wasn't an easy month, but I got through it. I'm always reminded to be grateful and thankful for what I have. The tough times that I might be going through are not as nearly as bad as what some people are dealing with so I can't complain.

On a lighter note, I found out that my artwork was accepted into another art exhibit in San Bernardino, CA for June 2019 - again expect the unexpected. I wasn't prepared for this as I thought the summer would be low-key where I could focus on painting again. I'm always grateful whenever I get to do an art exhibit. The positives can tend to be few and far between so whenever they happen, it always makes me happy. Luckily I had enough time to get everything framed and dropped off for the exhibit. I look forward to June and the summer months which for me are not only about painting but reflecting on how far I've come and where I am going in the future.
